Back up before you delete
Confirm cloud sync is active for photos and videos. This gives you confidence to delete without fear.
- Check that backup is recent and complete.
- Verify storage limits so uploads do not silently pause.
Start with easy wins
Remove the obvious clutter first.
- Delete screenshots, duplicates, and blurry shots.
- Remove burst mode leftovers and accidental videos.
- Clear memes or downloads you no longer need.
Organize by year or event
Pick a system you can repeat. Year and event folders are the easiest to maintain.
