Delete apps you do not use
If you have not opened an app in 90 days, it probably does not need to stay. Deleting reduces distraction and frees storage.
- Start with games, utilities, and one-off travel apps.
- Remove duplicate apps that serve the same purpose.
- Reinstall later if you truly miss one.
Group what remains
Keep your home screen focused on what you use daily.
- One screen for daily essentials.
- One folder for "sometimes" apps.
- Move distractions off the first screen.
Turn off non-essential notifications
Most alerts do not need to break your focus. Keep only alerts that protect time or safety.
- Disable social notifications and promotional pings.
- Keep calendar, messages, and security alerts.
- Use focus modes or do-not-disturb windows.
Check which apps access your location, camera, or contacts. Revoke access that is not essential.
